Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 October 2026. This notice explains how Vape Price Compare handles information when you use this website.
Information we receive
If you contact us, we receive the name, email address and message you provide. Our web server may record technical information such as your IP address, browser and request time for security and operation. We may record aggregate counts of clicks to retailer offers without attaching those counts to a named visitor.
How we use information
We use contact details to answer your enquiry, technical logs to run and protect the site, and aggregate activity to understand which comparisons are useful. We do not sell your contact details. We do not process payments or receive your payment details; purchases take place on retailer websites.
Cookies and other sites
WordPress and WooCommerce may set functional cookies for site operation. If you sign in to a site account, account cookies may also be used. Retailer links take you to independent websites with their own privacy practices. Check those sites before sharing information with them.
Keeping and sharing information
We keep information for as long as needed for the purpose collected, site security or legal obligations. Service providers that host or maintain the site may process information for us. We may disclose information where the law requires it.
Your choices
You may ask about the personal information we hold, request correction or deletion where applicable, or raise a privacy concern through our contact page. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You may also contact South Africa’s Information Regulator.
We may update this notice when site practices change. The date above shows the latest revision.
Newsletter signups
If you choose to subscribe, we store your email address and the consent you provide through Fluent Forms. We use this information to send updates about latest products and specials. You can withdraw your consent or request removal from the subscriber list through our contact page. Newsletter emails will include an unsubscribe option.
We remember newsletter popup dismissal in your browser for seven days, and a successful signup so we can avoid showing the popup again in that browser.
Age confirmation cookie
This website is intended for adults aged 18 and over. When you confirm your age, we store a functional cookie named vpc_age_confirmed in your browser for 30 days to remember that choice across site pages. The cookie records your confirmation only; we do not collect your date of birth or an identity document through the age gate. Clearing this cookie will require you to confirm again.
